Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup Trader Joe’s sliced crimini mushrooms
  • 1 small onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup leek sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lb Trader Joe’s frozen green beans
  • 1 can 10.5 oz Trader Joe’s Cream of Portobello Mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup Trader Joe’s Gourmet Fried Onion Pieces

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prep The Base

  • Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and leek. Cook for about 3–4 minutes until soft.

Step 2: Build Flavor

  • Add mushrooms and garlic. Cook until the mushrooms release their moisture and start to brown. Sprinkle black pepper.

Step 3: Add The Creamy Mix

  • Pour in the mushroom soup and water. Stir well until everything combines into a smooth sauce.

Step 4: Add Green Beans

  • Fold in the green beans. Mix gently so the beans are coated with the sauce.

Step 5: Transfer To Baking Dish

  • Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish. Spread it evenly.

Step 6: Add Cheese Layer

  • Sprinkle Swiss cheese over the top.

Step 7: Bake

  • Place in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C). Bake for 20 minutes.

Step 8: Add Crunchy Topping

  • Remove from the oven, add fried onion pieces on top, then bake again for 5–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
