Ingredients
  

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crust 2 crusts
  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries chopped
  • 3 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla flavoring
  • 1 egg white beaten (for sealing and brushing)

Step 1: Prepare The Strawberry Filling

  • In a small saucepan, add chopped strawberries, white sugar, and cornstarch.
  • Cook over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  • Let it cool while you prepare the cream cheese mixture.

Step 2: Make The Cream Cheese Filling

  • In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla flavoring until smooth.

Step 3: Assemble The Hand Pies

  • Roll out the refrigerated pie crust on a lightly floured surface.
  • Use a round cutter (or a hand pie mold) to cut circles from the crust.
  • On half of the circles, spread a thin layer of cream cheese mixture, leaving a border.
  • Spoon about 1 teaspoon of strawberry mixture on top.
  • Brush the edges with beaten egg white, then place another crust circle on top.
  • Seal by pressing with a fork or using the hand pie mold.

Step 4: Air Fry The Pies

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Place the pies in a single layer in the air fryer basket (don’t overcrowd).
  • Brush the tops with egg white for a golden finish.
  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through if needed.

Step 5: Cool And Serve

  • Let the pies cool slightly before serving. They’ll be hot inside!
