Cracker Barrel Peach Tea Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups of water
  • 4 regular-sized tea bags
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of fresh peach slices
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a large saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  • Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add the tea bags.
  • Let the tea bags steep in the hot water for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and discard them.
  • Stir in the sugar until it dissolves completely.
  • Add the fresh peach slices to the tea mixture.
  • Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, and then refrigerate it for at least 2 hours to chill thoroughly.
  • Once chilled, strain the tea to remove the peach slices.
  • Serve the Peach Tea over ice cubes in individual glasses.
  • Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint.
